The 16th Norwegian Fish Nutrition Seminar

The Norwegian Fish Nutrition Seminar is a biennial event and aims to be a platform for communicating the recent advances in fish nutrition research and facilitate productive dialogue among stakeholders in science and practice of aquaculture and fish nutrition in Norway.

The overall topic of the seminar is Feed for a sustainable future for all species in aquaculture in Norway

We invite you to three sessions:

1)    Sustainable feed ingredients 
2)    Nutrition: uptake, requirements, and mechanisms
3)    Health and welfare

Feed for a sustainable future incorporates various aspects of feed safety, new ingredients, CO₂ footprint, nutrient availability and absorption, nutritional requirements under modern production conditions, genetics, as well as nutritional status and mechanisms affecting species-specific growth, health, and welfare parameters.

The purpose of the seminar is for us to collectively focus on various aspects of fish nutrition that can contribute to increased aquaculture production through suitable feed ingredients, good nutritional practices, and the prevention of diseases and mortality.
