Wilsgård Fiskeoppdrett AS is a family business located at the outermost part of Senja in Torsken and has been engaged in the production of Atlantic salmon since 1983. Wilsgård is a modern and future-oriented group that, through the use of new technology and skilled employees, continuously focuses on the production of high-quality salmon products.

Wilsgård Fiskeoppdrett AS is the parent company of the group and has its core business in salmon farming at various locations in Troms and slaughtering services at its own slaughterhouse in Torsken. The annual production at the fish farm is 10,000 tons distributed over six concessions. The slaughterhouse has an annual production of 22,000 tons and slaughters for external customers in addition to its own fish. The company currently has 58 employees divided into food fish production, slaughterhouse, and administration.

Green concessions and sustainable aquaculture
Wilsgård now has 6 concessions, of which 5 are green. In the fall of 2023, the 6th will also become green. Green concessions have the strictest requirements for the environment and fish welfare, with the aim of minimizing the footprint of our food production.
We also operate an educational concession in collaboration with Troms County Council. The operation of this has contributed a double-digit million amount to the blue fund, a fund earmarked for educational initiatives in the blue sector.
