Curriculum Vitae

Erlend Moksness er ansatt som forskningssjef ved Havforskningsinstituttet og representere Havforskningsinstituttet i Sørøst Norge.  Har tidligere vært ansatt som forskningsdirektør med ansvaret for Rådgivingsprogrammet Økosystem Kystsone. Doktorgrad fra Universitet i Bergen i 1992 og utdannet driftsøkonom fra NKS 1984. Faglige bakgrunn i rekrutteringsmekanismer hos marine fisk, bestandsvurdering av sild i Nordsjøen, alderbestemmelse av fisk, havbeite og oppdrett av marin fisk. Har arbeidet i 10 år som forskningsdirektør ved Havforskningsinstituttet og 13 år som Professor II i akvakultur ved Norges Veterinærhøyskole. Har publisert 89 artikler i internasjonale referee tidsskrift og redaktør av 11 bøker.
