I am currently working as a postdoc in the NRC project SALMOSTERILE. The project aims to target germ cell survival factors to produce sterile Atlantic salmon for aquaculture; this could solve challenges like precocious puberty and genetic introgression from farmed escapees to wild populations.

Keywords: Atlantic salmon, functional studies, microinjection, gene knockout, CRISPR/Cas9, RNA sequencing, transcriptomics, in situ hybridization, qPCR.
