Bunnfisk i Nordsjøen: Bestandsanalyser og rådgivning i fiskeriforhandlingene mellom Norge og EU.
Redaktør (med russisk medredaktør) for en norsk-russisk bok om Barentshavet som tar utgangspunkt i forskningssamarbeidet mellom Norge og Russland og resultatene av dette. Publisering september 2011.
Bunnfiskbestandene i Nordsjøen gikk tilbake fram mot 1990, mest på grunn av ovebeskatning, men også på grunn av dårligere rekrutteringsforhold. Sei, hyse og rødspette er i dag bærekraftig beskattet, til tross for fortsatt betydelig utkast av hyse og rødspette, mens bestandene av torsk og hvitting er overbeskattet og på et lavt nivå. Hoveproblemet er stort utkast og mangelfull kontroll med fangstinnsatsen i EU-sonen. Det arbeides fortløpende men å etablere og evaluere felles forvaltningsstrategier.
