Hovudinteressa mi er korleis ein kan nytta ulike akustiske sensorar til å observera marine organismar. Eg er spesielt interessert i korleis ein kan observera effektar av menneskeleg påverknad på fiskeåtferd og struktur og kollektiv åtferd i store fiskestimar. Eg er og interessert i storskala observasjonssystem og data prosessering generelt. Eg er den norske representanten i ICES sin vitskapskomité.
