Close to 250 participants from the industry, politics, media, environmental organizations and public administration are gathering in Oslo to discuss long-range environmental challenges. Ole Arve Misund, director of research at the IMR spoke of ”challenges in Norwegian management of resources”.
Several of the debators commented on the negative consequences of reduced survey activities at the IMR. The minister noticed with content the great involvement in the field of oceanography.
