The “Dr. Fridtjof Nansen” is currently conducting a BENEFIT survey off the coast of northern Namibia and Southern Angola. Onboard are scientists and technicians from South Africa, Namibia, Angola, Germany and Norway. The purpose of the current investigation is to survey the Angola Benguela frontal zone and to map the environmental parameters within this zone together with zooplankton, fish egg and larvae.
