Curriculum Vitae

I am a fisheries biologist, holding a PhD in the trophic ecology of small pelagic fish and a MSc in Ecology, Management and Protection of the natural Environment. Currently, I work as a post doc researcher at the Institute of Marine Research in Bergen, Norway. I am placed in the pelagic fish group where I study the spatio-temporal interactions of mackerel, herring and blue whiting with each other and environmental variables, aiming to understand the mechanisms of distribution of these species, within the project EcoNorSe.

I am dealing with spatial models in an attempt to understand the mechanisms that drive the distribution and abundance of NVG heering, blue whiting and mackerel. Utilizing fish and environmental data from the ecosystem surveys I study the links between the three species and their habitat.
