Mitt fagfelt er ernæringsepidemiologi og mitt interessefelt er å studere hvordan sjømatinntak påvirker ernæringsstatus samt hvilken rolle sjømat har for ernærings- og matsikkerhet både nasjonalt og globalt. Forskningen omfatter karlegging av næringsstoff i sjømat, samt observasjons- og intervensjonsstudier.
