Min forskning fokuserer på toksikokinetikken til ønsket stoffer, spesielt sporelementer, i fisk, og overføringen av disse fra fôr til fisk. Jeg benytter sebrafisk som modellorganisme og Atlantisk torsk og Atlantisk laks som målart.

Jeg har tidligere undersøkt toksikokinetikken til arsen og kvikksølv, og studerer nå interaksjonen mellom kvikksølv og selen i fisk.

Jeg er også interessert i analysen av sporelementer og deres kjemiske former i marine prøver, inkludert fôr og fôringredienser. Jeg arbeider med metodeutvikling og metodevalidering.
