Hoved interesse:
A) Fiskeatferd: 1) Visuelt fødeopptak hos fisk og fiskelarver; 2) Fisks habitatvalg relatert til variasjoner i predasjonsrisiko og fôr tilgjengelighet; 3) Reproduksjons atferd hos fisk

B) Økosystem dynamikk : Gobidenes rolle i økosystemet langs Norskekysten, Østersjøen og i Benguela (et av verdens mest produktive up-welling’s områder på sydvest kysten av Afrika).
