Our work

CDCF coordinates the work of experts providing technical assistance to distinct countries. The aim is to share the Norwegian governmental institutions’ expertise and technological advances to achieve maximum sustainable benefits of its living aquatic resources.

This is achieved by cooperation, and capacity building, within the institutions by developing the monitoring and management of their resources. The projects and activities of the Centre for Development Cooperation in Fisheries (CDCF) are mainly funded by the Norwegian Development Agency (Norad) and the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).

CDCF has conducted, over the years, activities in numerous countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
