A cooperation program between Mauritius and Norway within fisheries management has been planned for a 3 year period, from 2008.
Main components of the program will be:
- Fish resource mapping
- Competence strengthening within fisheries research and management
- Develop a national plan of action to combat IUU-fishing
- Regulations for certification of fishing vessels
