Sissel Rogne

Sissel Rogne is former Managing Director (CEO) of the Institute of Marine Research (2016-2021). Her former position was as CEO of the Norwegian Biotechnology Advisory Board and part-time professor at the University of Bergen (UiB) and Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU). Rogne is a cell biologist with a PhD from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Oslo. She has held various researcher and leadership positions, including Director of Research at NMBU, and has broad experience from various scientific boards, both at a national and international level.
