The ASSW is a collaborative effort between:

The purpose of the summit is to provide opportunities for international coordination, collaboration and cooperation in all areas of Arctic science and to combine science and management meetings. The ASSW also offers insight into Arctic research undertaken by the host country. Side meetings organized by other groups with interests in Arctic science and policy will take place at the same time.

For the first time, the ASSW will include not only annual meetings of the Arctic organizations, but also an international symposium. The symposium will take place on 24-26 March. Annual meetings are scheduled to take place 22-23 and 27-28 March. For more information on the annual meetings, visit the websites of the individual organizations.
